Why I Love Mexican Pizzas
I love Mexican pizzas because they are very cheesy and flavorful. Unfortunately, they are only available a few times a year, but I wish they were there more often. I don’t like thin crust pizzas, so when I get a Mexican pizza, I don’t even eat it until after it cools down because the cheese melts and gets all over my hands. My favorite thing about Mexican pizzas is that you can add as many toppings as you want for no extra charge!

It is a tasty dish comprising a baked crust, soft taco-style tortilla slathered with spicy tomato sauce, layers of chopped meat (typically ham), onions, green peppers, refried beans, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese. It’s spicy and rich in flavor without being overly filling. We are just days away from August 6th, the day on which this zesty dish was created decades ago. Mexican Pizza Is Coming Before Forever, and Like for Real This Time
Beginning in April, Papa John’s will be serving a menu of three limited-time Mexicana pizzas. In addition, the menu will include new signature pizzas with Mexicana ingredients such as cilantro and jalapeños. Currently, none of these specialty pizzas is available on regular menus. A spokesperson for Papa John’s said that the company had tested their Mexicana flavors to ensure customers liked them before creating this permanent menu option.
You can only find Mexicana pizzas in stores until April 17th, when they will be permanently added to all locations nationwide as part of the limited-time menu offerings.
