How to take off nail polish without using a remover
If you’re anything like me, you love getting your nails ready. But sometimes, gel nails can be a pain to remove. Here’s a step-by-step guide on removing them at home without using polish remover
1) Start by removing the clear layer of polish from the top of the nail. Next, use an orange stick or similar tool that is soaked in acetone to gently remove the clear coat until it reaches the sticky layer below it. Continue until all ten nails are peeled off, and all you have left is sticky goo residue left on each fingertip.
2) Once this has been accomplished, apply dish soap to each fingertip and work into the goo residue with your fingers and a toothbrush if necessary.
3) Rinse hands in lukewarm water (to avoid chapping). Wipe clean with a towel and pat dry. Your hands should now feel soft and moisturized!
Do-it-yourself (DIY) kits.
Not everyone is blessed with long, natural nails. And not everyone has the time or money to go to a salon for a professional manicure or pedicure. But that doesn’t mean you have to live with short, stubby nails! There are plenty of DIY kits out there that can help you achieve the look you want.
