1. She Always Wanted to Get Into Acting
Growing up, Calle Walton always wanted to get into acting. She loved how it could be a form of expression for her and how she could bring other characters to life. In high school, she joined the speech team, and she also started auditioning for various plays.

For those who don’t know, Calle is an actress on This Is Us. She plays Kate Pearson, a mom and wife who struggles with addiction and depression and tries to find her way back to the family she loves.
While it was hard for me to watch Kate go through such difficult times on screen, it was also really rewarding to see her finally make peace with herself and start living again in the finale. And that might be because I could relate so closely to what she was going through: I lost my dad when I was seven years old and struggled with depression for many years following his death.
