Best time to post on TikTok

How do you know when you should be posting on TikTok? Unless you’re following the latest trends and memes, it cannot be easy to figure out when you should post. That’s why we’ve developed this handy guide to show you exactly when the best time to post on TikTok is based on your schedule!

Overview

TikTok is a social media platform. People believe that the best time to post on TikTok is around midnight, when many users use their application. I have found that this does not have a significant effect. In my research, posting an hour before and after midnight was about equal in views. Posting during weekday afternoons has also been proven effective, as well as at other times of the day or night, like 10 am or 11 pm. Finally, make sure you’re posting at a time when your content would make sense with what other users are seeing in their feed. If you’re looking for more followers and fans, there may be better times than others for your post!

The best time to post on TikTok depends on the day

A post is best timed at 2–4 pm on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Friday is when the most views happen because it’s often the day with fewer posts which means your view count will increase significantly. Thursday is close behind but has more competition for views since there are twice as many posts as a Friday. So your total might be half as much. Monday also has twice as many posts, so you might get roughly half of what you would get on a Wednesday or Thursday, and if it’s anything like how TikTok works, this will make for about 7 hours of posts happening every day (Monday 8 am – 8 pm). Saturday is Sunday’s rival in several views, but not by much.

Here are the following best times for each day of the week according to Hootsuite:

  • Sunday: 7 pm
  • Monday: 1 a.m
  • Tuesday: noon
  • Wednesday: 10 am
  • Thursday: 10 pm
  • Friday: 6 pm
  • Saturday: 2 pm
How Can You Find Your Best Time to Post on TikTok?

There are a few ways you can figure out your best time to post on TikTok. The first and most logical is to look at when your video is getting the most views. That being said, this is not always accurate because when people go onto your profile. They will see the posts with the most views in their feed from a variety of other TikTok users. However, you can also test what time works best for you by taking screenshots of your posts every day for about two weeks. Then take an average of which time has resulted in the greatest view count for you individually, and make sure that’s when you’re posting regularly!

Step 1: Swap to a TikTok Pro Account

It’s easy and affordable to switch from an App Store account to a TikTok Pro account, so there’s no reason to. To get started, sign up for a monthly subscription. You can do so here. This will give you access to everything and anything that would otherwise cost money in the app store, including Pro accounts! From there, log out of your original App Store account and sign in with your new Pro account.

Step 2: Find Your Top Territories

– The top five territories, by views, on TikTok are North America, Latin America, South Asia, Africa, and Europe. It is important to spread your content across all continents for increased visibility. However, due to time zones, it might be more beneficial to focus more time/posts in a territory with a large concentration of followers during that region’s day or evening.

– If you post at 7 pm EST, then your post will be most visible during the morning in other countries such as Thailand or India, which is 10 am local time there.

Step 3: Review When Your Followers are Most Active

It’s essential to post when your followers are active. Otherwise, you might get missed by all of them!

If you know when most of your followers are active, then that’s the best time for you. But if not, try keeping it at least in this order: noon, after school (3–5 pm), dinner time (6–8 pm).

Step 4: Leverage Data of Your Viral Content

To understand which content is performing well, Instagram analytics will show you how much traffic each post gets and which posts get the most reach. This data can help with future decisions, such as when you should schedule your posts. To access this information, go to your profile’s settings, tap ‘Insights,’ and then choose ‘Instagram.’ Once there, scroll down until you see a graph called Posts. Tap on this and select a time period-this will tell you which of your posts are getting more traction during different hours of the day.

How to Effectively Use Multiple Best Times to Post on TikTok?

Planning and strategically scheduling your posts is necessary in an increasingly competitive world. Being in control of when and how you post is one way to ensure you get all of the views you deserve from your followers. In addition, with TikTok now being so accessible. It’s becoming increasingly important for users to know how best to use it multiple times for posting.

To take advantage of this in your social media game plan. You need some knowledge and trial-and-error testing on what works best for you. For example, so many people ask themselves: when should I post? How often should I post?
